Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Georgia SRT4 or higher license with current GaPSC certification
• Experience teaching or supporting students in special education settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
• Knowledge of best practices in individualized education, IEP development, and differentiation
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, families, and educational staff
• Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective, differentiated lesson plans aligned with IEP goals for K-5th grade students
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches to promote individual growth
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student success
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Create a safe, supportive classroom environment that nurtures student confidence and participation
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional learning opportunities as needed

Contract Details & Perks:
