Job Summary:

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, to support accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate CT and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality images.
  
  
• 
  Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate imaging care for patients across all age groups.
  
  
• 
  Transfer images accurately using PACS and teleradiology systems for radiologist review.
  
  
• 
  Maintain equipment functionality through routine calibration and maintenance.
  
  
• 
  Keep detailed records, files, and billing documentation in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
  
  
• 
  Manage supply inventory and perform other diagnostic imaging duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  
  
• 
  Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R).
  
  
• 
  Possess a valid radiologic technologist license in California.
  
  
• 
  Have certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  
  
• 
  Maintain advanced certification in CT modality (preferred in CA, required in OR and HI).
  
  
• 
  Have venipuncture certification if performing contrast administration.
