Job Description

Job Summary:

Perform advanced imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. Provide high-quality cross-sectional images, supporting accurate interpretation by radiologists while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and related imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images efficiently.
• Assess and evaluate patients before and during procedures to ensure proper positioning and safety.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functioning and quality standards.
• Document patient information, imaging procedures, and data accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including infection control and radiation safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with R.T. (R)(CT) credential.
• Possess a valid Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice.
• Maintain current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Have at least two years of recent experience in diagnostic imaging, specifically CT.
• Demonstrate knowledge of PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer.
