This job works on a wide variety of assigned tasks.Key Responsibilities:Building maintenance and repairsEnsure building compliance and code is adhered toContractor oversight and managementManage workloadsOn call availabilityReports and all written documentation and process are followedAdhere to all company policies and proceduresPerform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulationsAdhere to the Company's Quality System operating proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by ManagementQualifications:5 to 10 years' experience as a Certified Journeyman technician or equivalentKnowledge of Building Automation systems (BAS)Familiarity of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Self-motivated, willing to learnWorks well independently and is a team playerPresents and maintains a positive and professional imageWriting and verbal communication skill is a mustAwareness of Environment, Health & Safety IssuesRequired to obtain/maintain a security clearance - A valid driver's license is requiredMust climb laddersBasic computer skills are requiredWhile we appreciate all applications we receive, we advise that only candidates under consideration will be contacted.GDI Ainsworth is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
