We seek to leverage these diverse experiences, backgrounds, and viewpoints to best serve the needs of our clients.Responsibilities Overview:Work directly with the President to support him in fiduciary decisions and client relationship responsibilities.Provide administration of trust accounts in adherence with trust instruments, governing documents of related entities, and Laurel Trust's policies and procedures.Assemble and review new account pre-acceptance materials, including trust instruments, portfolio holdings, partnership agreements, KYC information, and trust accounting records.Review and execute cash transfers, investment actions, market value updates, beneficiary distributions, and other trust accounting transactions.Prepare annual account administrative reviews.Prepare and review meeting materials for the Trust, Investment, and Distribution Committees.Effectively manage multiple ongoing projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment and follow up with the President.Communicate and coordinate with external client advisors, including investment advisers, accountants, attorneys, and family offices.Adhere to all compliance procedures and reinforce a strong compliance culture with the team.Actively suggest improvements to procedures and policies.Other duties as the needs of the office evolve.Required Qualifications:5+ years of trust administration or planning experience with a focus on world-class service for high net-worth clients ($1MM+ level clientele).College graduate with additional certification/credential required (i.e. JD /MBA/CTFA/CFP/CFA).Technically strong with demonstrated experience with sophisticated trust and asset structures.Demonstrated experience of providing thoughtful client solutions.Flexible and receptive to contribute in a variety of ways that often arise in a small office environment that may not correlate to the candidate's technical skillset.Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.Aptitude for utilizing technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness.Discretion and respect for confidential matters.Flexible and willing to work extended hours as needed.Detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.Strong work ethic.Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with varied audiences.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with ultra-high net worth multi-generational $50MM+ families with complicated assets and sophisticated trust structures.Juris Doctorate.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.Tax planning or return preparation experience.Personal Attributes:Professional.Accountable and values the importance of "getting it right."Consistent and strong follow–up skills.Effective communicator.Intellectually curious.Self-motivated and eager to learn.Solutions-oriented.Detail-oriented.Able to problem-solve.Acts with integrity.Energetic, creative, and positive.Collaborative and flexible.Uses good judgment.Respectful, resilient, and patient.Other Requirements:This position will require the individual to authorize a personal background check with the Nevada Financial Institutions Division.This job requires the employee to sit for approximately 6-7 hours a day and use a keyboard and mouse for repetitive motion.
