Finance Leader Opportunity At MaineHealthMaineHealth is looking for an experienced finance leader to join our team in an onsite role based in Portland, Maine, supporting our hospital operations in York, Sanford, and Biddeford.This is a great opportunity for someone who comes from a large hospital or complex healthcare system and understands the financial challenges of running healthcare operations. You'll play a key role in capital and operating budgets, financial reporting, position management, and financial analysis, partnering closely with operational and executive leadership to evaluate programs, service lines, and new initiatives.We're looking for someone with at least 6 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, previous leadership experience, and a strong background in hospital finance. Experience in a large healthcare organization is especially important, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex financial information into meaningful business decisions.If you enjoy connecting the numbers to the bigger picture, collaborating with hospital leaders, and making a meaningful impact on healthcare operations, this could be a great opportunity to bring your expertise to MaineHealth!This position is responsible for the oversight, implementation and administration of capital and operating budgets, internal reporting, and position management systems. In addition, the position has the responsibility of coordinating the analytical finance support for assigned areas as required to support operational and executive leadership in program, product line, and new concept financial analysis.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education: MBA, CPA, or other relevant Master’s Degree preferredLicense/Certifications: CHFP within 6 months of hireExperience: Minimum five years of accounting and/or financial analyst experience required. Previous leadership experience is required.
