Position Overview APP - Inpatient General Surgery (ARNP; Nurse Practitioner; or PA-C, Physician Assistant) is a full‑time, 100% FTE day shift position with weekend and holiday coverage and no call. Potential for 2-3 nights per month. Responsibilities The APP provides clinical expertise to patients and families, serves as a resource for health care providers, and participates in research and teaching programs. Work is performed in the Inpatient Care Units and Emergency Department 7 days a week with general independence and decision‑making responsibility under the guidance of attending physicians, chief residents, and the department lead APP. Qualifications Masters or Doctorate Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges National certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP); or, Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) with a minimum of 3 years APP/provider experience in acute care will be considered as well. Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant in the State of Washington National certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA) BLS certification required. Applicant must be eligible to receive hospital staff appointments for adjunct staff membership under the Organized Medical Staff of the hospital by the Medical Staff By‑Laws for hospital‑based positions. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range Minimum: $131,316.00 annual Pay Range Maximum: $205,548.00 annual Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
