Key Responsibilities Maintain the certification of a certified police officer through the Department of Criminal Justice Services. Meet compliance standards by following regulatory requirements established by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Department of Energy (DOE). Ensure access control of personnel, materials, and packages entering or leaving restricted areas. Protect classified material and sensitive assets critical to national security. Remain vigilant and prepared to respond to security threats and emergencies. Take on additional duties as assigned to contribute to the overall security efforts. What You Need to Succeed High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferably a Virginia DCJS Certified Law Enforcement Officer. Must be at least 21 years old. Valid driver's license. Ability to complete physical agility tests, physical exams, psychological evaluations, and drug screenings. U.S. Citizen.
