Outside Sales Representative - Industrial Machine Parts Manufacturer (36078)

A global manufacturer of automation machinery is looking for Outside Sales Representative candidate to join their team in Kentucky area! You will be responsible for new business development for lines of motion control systems (electric actuator, cylinder, SCARA robots, etc.). Prior sales experience in automation machinery is a big plus.

This is a direct-hire and full-time role.

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities Include:

• Contact and visit potential clients within assigned territory to establish and develop new business opportunities
• Research the latest industry trends and develop sales strategies
• Manage and maintain existing customers to maintain strong relationships
• Help customers with product issues, questions, etc.
• Provide quotes and pricing for customers
• Provide timely activity reports to management
• Other duties as assigned

Outside Sales Representative Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering field preferred
• 3-5 years of prior sales experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing
• Experience in motion control system or linear motion control is plus
• Ability to travel in Indiana
• Ability to multi-task and manage complex projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment
• Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
