- 5 Days Per Week
- Weekend and Holiday Flexibility Required
- Instrument Tracking System Experience Preferred
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CRCST Certification required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience required.
- Experience assembling surgical instrument trays using count sheets.
- Knowledge of sterilization processes, instrument decontamination, and infection control practices.
- Ability to operate sterilization and decontamination equipment.
- Basic to intermediate MS Office skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport equipment and supplies.
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, and disinfection of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize instrument trays according to established procedures.
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and perform quality control testing.
- Identify damaged or missing instruments and coordinate replacements.
- Maintain accurate sterilization records and documentation.
- Utilize instrument tracking systems to document processing activities.
- Prepare and dispatch surgical case carts and specialty procedure trays.
- Follow infection control and OSHA safety standards.
- Manage storage, transportation, and distribution of sterile supplies.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and supply distribution.
