We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to produce comprehensive fire protection design packages across Industrial Warehouse, Commercial, and Mixed-Use Residential projects. In this role, you will lead sprinkler layouts, perform hydraulic calculations, complete fabrication listings, and coordinate closely with cross-functional trades. Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to produce comprehensive fire protection design packages across Industrial Warehouse, Commercial, and Mixed-Use Residential projects. In this role, you will lead sprinkler layouts, perform hydraulic calculations, complete fabrication listings, and coordinate closely with cross-functional trades. Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate fire sprinkler system layouts and 3D models using SprinkCAD, Revit, or AutoCAD in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Perform hydraulic calculations (using SprinkCAD or HASS) and generate precise material fabrication lists for manufacturing and installation.
- Conduct field surveys of existing conditions to verify building dimensions, structural clearances, and water supply data.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings, resolving spatial conflicts and aligning designs with MEP, structural, and architectural trades.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with project managers, design teams, field superintendents, and code officials.
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler system design across commercial, residential, or industrial sectors.
- Proficient in SprinkCAD (or AutoCAD); working knowledge of HASS and Revit (BIM) is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of NFPA standards (NFPA 13, 14, 20), hydraulic principles, and fabrication processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational habits to manage multiple projects efficiently.
