The facility serves as a referral center for trauma, stroke, and neonatal care. It is also home to a busy robotic surgery program. The team operates a unit with 24 beds and a staff of 42. Staffing includes registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and a charge nurse. Patient ratios are typically 1:4 or 1:5. Standard equipment is used along with an electronic medical record system. Candidates must possess a valid RN license and BLS certification. Chemo certification is a preferred qualification. Team players who are willing to learn are desirable for this role. Basic hospital policies and guidelines are followed. Staff is required to work a limited number of weekend days throughout their schedule.
