Clinical Concierge - Urgent Care - Full time, Days

Clinical Concierge MA/LVN – Flower Mound Location: 4630 Long Prairie rd., suite 210, Flower Mound, Texas 75028 (This position will float across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care Locations) Works hours: Full‑Time, 3‑12‑hour shifts a week (rotating days, weekends and holidays), 7:45 AM – 8:15 PM. What You’ll Need High School Diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant required, or completion of a Vocational Nurse program. Six months of previous health‑care facility clinical experience as an LVN, MA, CNA, or other patient‑care experience, or completion of an internal THR MA externship training program in lieu of experience. Previous experience with electronic health record preferred. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant in lieu of completion of a Medical Assistant education program, or LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse State of Texas, if LVN upon hire required. BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support (maintained every 2 years and required prior to providing independent patient care) within 30 days of hire required. THR Urine Drug Collector training (maintained every 5 years and required prior to providing independent care) within 30 days of hire required. What You Will Do Guide consumers and their secondary guests through the entire urgent care visit to enhance the consumer experience. Assist providers with care and treatment, laboratory testing, and other duties. Perform patient registration, collect payments, room patients, and facilitate patient discharge. Maintain competency and perform in all assigned positions on a rotating basis. Collect identification and payer‑related documentation, conduct registration using EPIC workflow. Measure and document vitals and communicate the resulting data to consumers and providers. Document chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications accurately in EPIC. Perform and document laboratory testing and collections per provider orders and SOPs, including venipuncture with prior competency check‑off. Administer and document oral and intramuscular medication using the appropriate workflow. Assist providers with procedures such as maintaining sterile field, laceration repair, I&D, and ortho‑gauge or ortho‑glass application. Behave professionally and empathetically to build trust and comfort. Welcome consumers and secondary guests with eye contact, a smile, greeting, and personal introduction; inquire about the purpose and nature of the visit. Recognize and notify providers immediately of emergent patients; perform BLS, provide oxygen administration, and assist with emergency care. Schedule primary‑care referrals for consumers. Maintain office supplies, medical supplies, and medications at appropriate par levels as assigned. Perform quality checks throughout the facility per established policies and procedures.
