Accounting Clerk
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $17.00 per hour, with an increase to $17.50 per hour after 90 days
Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position combines front reception duties with clerical support for our accounting department. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while assisting with administrative and basic accounting tasks in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the accounting department.
- Assist with basic accounting tasks, including data entry and filing, as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting procedures is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
