About the Role As a member of the Labor & Employment Practice Group, you will collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys on a wide range of employment matters, both transactional and litigation-based, representing employers across various industries. Key Responsibilities Handle a variety of labor and employment matters including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage & hour claims Draft and review employment agreements, policies, handbooks, and separation agreements Conduct legal research and analysis on evolving employment laws and regulations Represent clients in administrative proceedings, mediations, and hearings Assist with litigation including pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions Provide day-to-day employment counsel to employer clients Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless workflow Stay current on changes in California and federal employment law Qualifications 2+ years of labor & employment experience at a law firm Active California Bar admission required Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and legal research platforms Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously Must be able to pass a background check Benefits Compensation: $150,000+, commensurate with experience Potential Bonus Hybrid Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Life insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program
