The CSO will be accountable for achieving ambitious regional outcomes, including academic performance, principal leadership and talent development, and organizational coherence. This role requires a leader with a strong background in K-12 education, including a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years as a successful K-12 principal. The CSO will work closely with the Executive Team to ensure the alignment of systems and accountability across all schools, and will lead the disciplined execution of regional initiatives to drive student achievement. Key responsibilities for the CSO include directly supervising and coaching Managing Directors of Schools, leading the monitoring and intervention of school performance, and stewarding the regional principal Bar of Excellence system. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in academic leadership, including the ability to cultivate and sustain learning environments that support student engagement and success. The CSO will also be responsible for leadership development, including the retention of high-performing school principals and the implementation of professional learning initiatives.
