We are currently searching for a Trailer Mechanic for our Joliet, IL location! Address: 1861 Terry Drive, Joliet, IL. 60436
Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7am- 3:30pm. Pay Range: $19.00 to $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.
Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:
- Mechanical skills and abilities
- The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
- Tank service and repair
- Trailer suspension installation and repair
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs
- Willingness to learn how to MIG/TIG weld on aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience
Physical Demands:
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
