Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure in Marlborough, MA is hiring a full-time Dog Daycare Attendant / Animal Caretaker (also known as Dog Handler, Pet Care Specialist, or Kennel Assistant) to join our team! Serious candidates only. This is not a summer job. We’re looking for reliable, long-term team members who want to grow with us. Position Details Full-Time – Monday through Friday - This is a full-time position. Not for someone who is looking just for a summer job. 32 – 40 hours per week Schedule will vary depending on what dogs come in week to week No weekend shifts required Pay: $15 – $19/hour depending on experience Benefit: Paid vacation after 1 year of employment, 10% discount on doggy daycare services Responsibilities Supervise safe, structured, and fun dog playgroups Track and document feedings, potty breaks, and behavior Clean and maintain a hygienic, safe facility for all pets Greet pet parents with excellent customer service during drop-off and pick-up Manage sign-ins, check-outs, and payments Support a positive, drama-free team culture Ensure all dogs receive quality care, attention, and enrichment Qualifications Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation Must speak English Previous dog handling experience preferred (kennel, vet, grooming, shelter, or daycare) Ability to read and interpret dogs’ body language preferred Will train to interpret body language if necessary Detail-oriented, patient, and dependable Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for extended periods Physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels Team player with strong communication skills and a genuine love for animals Why Work at Woo Woo’s Pet Adventure?
