We provide safe, clean water for the world and protect our planet's most valuable resource.This highly motivated individual, as part of the Maintenance department, will be responsible for maintenance and repair activities for the building facilities, grounds, as well as production and handling equipment. An ideal candidate for this position will have a broad range of experience in the building trades, particularly in a manufacturing and industrial warehouse environment.Primary Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electrical equipment, including but not limited to lift and transport trucks, water plumbing, and specialized production test equipment.Plan and perform work requiring a strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories and principlesInstalls, starts up, and shuts down equipment for machine activation and shutdown in accordance with OSHA and Watts safety requirements.Advises operators and supervisors of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with electrical and mechanical equipment and components.Install and relocate warehouse racking.Maintains company performance and maintenance records for identified equipment.Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed or scheduled.Proactively identify problems and take prompt action. Informs appropriate management and other maintenance mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved.Trains and assists other maintenance team members.Willing to work overtime when required.Performs other duties as required.Required Qualifications3+ years of demonstrated experience in the electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic fields.Highly safety conscious.Experience with building and construction trades and best practices/techniques.Basic understanding of common local and national building codes.Proficient with hand and power toolsWorking understanding of properties of various materials including wood, metals, and plastics.Working understanding of electrical principles.Able to understand and communicate proficiently in English.Experience in operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.Mechanically inclinedExperience with and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPersonally motivated and able to work with minimal supervision or direction.Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.Preferred QualificationsExperience with commercial or industrial building maintenance.Experience with manufacturing maintenance.Licensed in a trade (ex: plumbing, electrician, etc.).OSHA training.Machining experience.Welding/ Plasma cutting experience.Commercial Driver's License, either current or past.Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet use.Multi-lingual: Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.General Applicable Company CompetenciesCommitment to Watts' values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.Punctuality and dependability.Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities.Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.Adherence to Watts' seven cultural beliefs: Growth Mindset, Customer-Focused Innovation, Constant Communication, Clear Goals, Collaborate Globally, Be Inclusive, and Take Action.Working ConditionsWhile performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility.
