Quality Manager

Aerospace Quality Management Leader

Join our dynamic aerospace manufacturing team in North Phoenix, AZ, as we seek an experienced leader to manage our Quality Management System (QMS). This role focuses on ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, preparing for NADCAP audits, and driving continuous improvement across our operations. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to deliver products that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Quality team to achieve departmental goals.
• Maintain and enhance the AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Coordinate and manage AS9100, NADCAP, customer, and internal audits.
• Oversee AS9102 First Article Inspections, calibration, traceability, and management of quality records.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor quality metrics and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to resolve quality issues.
• Support supplier quality assurance and maintain quality documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in aerospace quality management.
• Proficiency with AS9100, NADCAP, and AS9102 standards.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience in root cause analysis, calibration systems, and ERP/MRP software (preferably JobBOSS).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Keyence CMM is a plus.
