We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Lead Barista to join our team! This role is ideal for tenured baristas with a strong foundation in coffee preparation, a passion for specialty coffee, and the ability to train and lead other team members. The Lead Barista will not only craft exceptional coffee beverages but also play a key role in mentoring baristas, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a high standard of service . Responsibilities Deliver Expert Coffee Craftsmanship – Prepare and serve a variety of espresso and coffee-based beverages following our recipes and quality standards. Lead & Train Baristas – Provide hands‑on training, ongoing coaching, and skill development to ensure consistency in technique, knowledge, and guest experience. Maintain Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on coffee blends, brewing methods, and flavor profiles to educate both customers and team members. Ensure Operational Excellence – Oversee coffee bar efficiency, ensure proper maintenance of espresso machines and brewing equipment, and uphold cleanliness standards. Customer Engagement – Build relationships with guests, make product recommendations, and enhance the overall coffee experience. Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure all baristas adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Qualifications Minimum in a specialty coffee or high-volume café setting. Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and alternative brewing methods. Experience training, mentoring, or leading a team is preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to give constructive feedback. Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast‑paced environment. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for coffee. Availability for early morning and day shifts and weekends is required .
