Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 18:45 - 07:15, 3x12 hours, with weekend coverage every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift position primarily focused on providing high-quality care in an inpatient unit dedicated to stroke and TIA patients, as well as higher acuity med-surg patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform medication administration utilizing the Omnicell system.
• Monitor and manage various patient diagnoses, including stroke, seizures, chest pain, and respiratory failure.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and experience.
• Maintain patient safety and care standards during floating assignments as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current TN RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, including EPIC charting experience.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Previous charge experience is required.
