LEAD TECHNICIAN / SHOP FOREMAN
Guardian Garage — Laramie, Wyoming
$100,000–$120,000+ Annual Compensation
Guardian Garage is looking for an experienced Lead Automotive Technician / Shop Foreman to join our growing independent repair and performance shop.
We don’t need help finding work—we need help getting it done.
Our four-bay shop currently has 20–30 vehicles waiting for service and regularly turns away additional work.
We’re looking for an experienced technician who has grown with the automotive industry and wants to keep growing with it.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You should be highly capable in modern automotive diagnosis and repair, with strengths in areas such as:
- Advanced electrical and driveability diagnostics
- Scan tools, live data and modern engine management
- Gasoline cars and light trucks
- Duramax, Power Stroke and Cummins diesel pickups
- CAN/network and module diagnosis
- Turbocharged/supercharged and performance vehicles
Performance, tuning and dyno experience are valuable, but not required.
We don’t expect you to know every vehicle. We expect you to know how to learn one.
We’re looking for someone who still wants to learn, understands how rapidly vehicle technology is changing and isn’t afraid to research an unfamiliar system or learn new diagnostic equipment.
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on leadership position.
You’ll diagnose and repair vehicles while also helping guide less-experienced technicians, solve difficult problems, maintain quality and help keep work moving efficiently through the shop.
We’re looking for someone who can eventually take significant ownership of the technical side of the operation.
