Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant

Job Title: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant Job Type: 3+ Year Contract Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to lead business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation activities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to configure and optimize Dynamics 365 solutions that align with organizational objectives and business processes. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs within Microsoft Dynamics 365. Configure Dynamics 365 applications, including security roles, business rules, workflows, forms, views, dashboards, and business process flows. Collaborate with developers and architects to design and implement custom solutions and integrations. Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend best‑practice solutions using Dynamics 365 capabilities. Create user stories, process flows, functional design documents, and configuration documentation. Support data migration, system integration, testing, and deployment activities. Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide end‑user training and support. Work with project teams to manage change requests, enhancements, and production support activities. Participate in solution demonstrations, workshops, and stakeholder presentations. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance, and security requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant, Business Systems Analyst, or related role. Minimum three (3) years of hands‑on experience configuring and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) modules and business processes. Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional solutions. Experience supporting all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Sales, Customer Insights, Field Service, or Case Management solutions. Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages. Experience in government, healthcare, public sector, or highly regulated environments. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Azure DevOps methodologies. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant certifications. Experience with data migration, integrations, and system modernization projects. Why Join Us?
