Job Description

As a Booth Operator, you will set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprint specifications. You will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of finished parts by selecting appropriate tooling and dies for each job, measuring and inspecting parts, and making necessary adjustments to machine settings.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprint specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job.
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed.
• Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines.
• Conduct manual wash and prep processes.
• Handle color changeovers and paint application equipment and procedures.
• Apply powder coating and powder coat painting.

Essential Skills

• Experience in setting up and operating press brake machines.
• Ability to measure and inspect finished parts for quality assurance.
• Skill in selecting tooling and dies for sheet metal jobs.
• Proficiency in making adjustments to machine settings.
• Experience in performing routine maintenance on machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Powder coat painting experience is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean and climate-controlled within a brand new facility. You will be part of a small team working on the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of Dayton, OH 45414.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
