# Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** August 31, 2026 **Location:** Plano, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Variable shifts based on census; day and night shifts available; 2 weekends per pay period required**Highlights:** - 30-bed specialized intensive care unit providing burn, trauma, and surgical critical care- Patient ratios of 2:1 for ICU and 4:1 for progressive care unit- Utilizes Meditech EMR and state-of-the-art critical care equipment- Typical procedures include wound care, codes, external ventricular drains (EVDs), and massive transfusion protocols (MTP)- Float opportunities to other ICU and PCU units including Medical-Surgical ICU, Cardiovascular ICU, and Neuro ICU- Team-based environment with 85 staff members committed to collaborative patient care**Requirements:** - Active RN license- Trauma, burn, or surgical ICU experience required- Strong communication and critical thinking skills- BSN degree preferred- CCRN certification preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, high-acuity critical care environment where you'll care for complex burn and trauma patients using advanced technology and evidence-based protocols.
