1st and 2nd Shift General Laborer $18-19/hr

• Sort paper and alternative fiber materials on a conveyor belt and remove debris (plastic, metal, etc.).
• Operate bagging and cubing equipment, including preparing, filling, and inspecting product bags.
• Verify bag seals and weights, removing defective bags for reclaim and recycling.
• Lift, carry, and stack 30-pound bags or bales onto pallets or trucks according to approved patterns.
• Operate shrink-wrap equipment to secure finished products for shipment.
• Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and operating instructions.
• Communicate production, safety, and quality concerns to supervisors and team members.

• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 30 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for approximately 75% of the workday.
• Ability to frequently bend, stretch, stoop, twist, and reach.
• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
• Basic math skills for weight verification.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures.
• Ability to safely work around moving equipment and wear required PPE.

• Manufacturing facility with conveyors, bagging equipment, and shrink-wrap machinery.
• Frequent lifting of 30-pound bags.
• Continuous standing, bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lester Prairie, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lester Prairie,MN.
