Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted LPN license in Connecticut
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous LPN experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and a patient-centered mindset

Role Overview:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a medically fragile high school student
• Monitor, administer medications, and respond promptly to the student’s needs
• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents for optimal student care
• Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and the highest standards of safety
• Report accurately on the student’s status and interventions during each shift

Assignment Details:

• Contract position available immediately through June 11
• Work schedule: Wednesdays only, 7:30am to 2:30pm (12:10pm on early release days)
• Coverage required on listed Wednesdays: Sept 16; Oct 7, 21, 28; Nov 11, 18; Dec 9, 16; Jan 6, 13, 27; Feb 3, 10, 24; March 31; April 7, 21, 28; May 12, 19, 26.
• Onsite interviews preferred for candidate selection
