What You’ll Do We’re a high‑performing, collaborative team that thrives on turning strategy into results. On any given day, you’ll collaborate with your team to strategize, grow and manage your book of business, build lasting client partnerships, and prospect new opportunities—whether in the office or out in the field. Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities and partnering with existing clients to optimize their digital advertising strategies. Cultivate new business while deepening relationships with current clients through proactive outreach and upselling. Sell a mix of customized advertising solutions across TV, digital video, streaming, display, social media, and paid search. Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting to support strategic planning and sustained revenue growth. Champion Cox Media’s advertising solutions by educating clients on data‑driven strategies. Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on digital and cross‑platform campaigns to build brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and achieve business goals. Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals showcasing the value of Cox Media’s solutions. Build an expansive book of business through strategic prospecting—including cold calling, door‑to‑door outreach, and lead generation—combined with consultative account management. Collaborate with internal teams—creative, research, and digital—to deliver seamless campaign execution and optimize performance. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications in CRM systems. Represent Cox Media with energy and excellence in the office and in the field. Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities; represent Cox Media locally to generate leads. What You Bring Skills and Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in a related field. Alternatively, a master’s degree and up to 2 years of experience; or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Proven success in sales/business development: identifying opportunities, building relationships, and exceeding goals. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals and fostering partnerships. Ability to use data in developing and selling media strategy. Ability to present complex solutions in an easy‑to‑understand manner. Thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while maintaining client relationships and business excellence. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications Expert in prospecting new business and nurturing existing client relationships through consultative selling and deep digital marketing expertise. Demonstrated success in creating strategic advertising solutions informed by a deep understanding of the digital and media landscape. Experience selling multi‑platform digital advertising and media solutions, with a strong ability to adopt new technologies in a fast‑changing environment. Industry certifications and/or Google Ads certification. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining strong client relationships. USD 29,300.00 – 43,900.00 per year Compensation Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $29,300.00 – $43,900.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as location and experience. The role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $43,900.00 – $65,900.00. Benefits Employees receive flexible vacation with pay, 7 paid holidays, and up to 160 hours of paid wellness time annually. Additional paid time off is available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer activities, military leave, and parental leave.
