Associate Attorney

Position Overview Our client, a well-established, collegial general practice law firm in York County, Maine , is seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of litigation and/or transactional real estate experience . Additional experience in corporate law, estate planning, or related practice areas is helpful but not required. Responsibilities Represent clients in a range of litigation matters, including legal research, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, motions, memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions, including document preparation and closing support Support entity formation, contract drafting, and corporate governance matters Provide practical legal advice and responsive client service across multiple practice areas Manage multiple active matters and deadlines with appropriate independence and judgment Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Admission to the Maine State Bar, or eligibility for admission/waiver 2–6 years of relevant litigation and/or transactional real estate experience Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Client-focused mindset with high ethical standards and professionalism What We Offer Supportive and collegial team environment Opportunity to work across a diverse general practice docket Mentorship and long-term professional development opportunities Competitive compensation and benefits package Meaningful client work and strong community reputation #J-18808-Ljbffr Springborn Staffing
