The ideal candidate is a proactive and analytical leader with strong business acumen, exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing FP&A organizations.What You’ll Do:Strategic Financial LeadershipPartner with the CFO and executive leadership team to align financial objectives with corporate strategyLead the annual operating plan, long-range financial plan, and rolling forecast processes across the enterpriseDeliver data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and decision support for strategic initiatives, capital investments, and enterprise prioritiesFinancial Analysis & ReportingSynthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and the Board of DirectorsLead monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reviews, including variance analysis, trend evaluation, and KPI reportingEnsure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness across all internal financial reporting and forecasting processesBusiness PartnershipServe as a trusted advisor to business and functional leaders, providing strategic financial guidance and challenging assumptions to drive performancePartner cross-functionally across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other organizations to support enterprise objectivesSupport strategic finance initiatives, including M&A analysis, integration planning, and synergy tracking, as neededTeam Leadership & Process ExcellenceLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Corporate FP&A team within a collaborative and accountability-driven cultureDrive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems, and tools to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiencyAdvance automation, analytics, and dashboard reporting capabilities to improve financial visibility and decision-makingWhat You Need:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferredExperience: 15+ years of progressive experience across Corporate FP&A, Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, or related finance functionsLeadership: 8+ years of experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders within complex, cross-functional organizationsSector Expertise: Foundational experience within Hardware, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive, Industrial, or other capital-intensive industries is required, including an understanding of tangible product lifecycles, operational finance, and supply chain dynamicsTechnical & Analytical Skills: Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear business insights; M&A or strategic finance experience strongly preferredInfluence & Communication: Proven ability to influence peer-level stakeholders and drive alignment across matrixed organizations without direct reporting authority, including experience presenting to executive leadership and Board audiencesPlanning Expertise: Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processesMindset: Systems-oriented and operationally minded leader who thrives in high-energy, fast-paced environments and continuously seeks opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and decision-makingBonus Qualifications:MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related fieldExperience operating within high-growth, multinational, and highly matrixed organizationsFamiliarity with ERP and enterprise planning platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, or similar systemsExperience supporting M&A financial modeling, due diligence, integration planning, and synergy trackingPlease note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
