HR Advisor

Part time, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (22.5 hours per week) Sheffield near Meadowhall area, up to £37,000 FTE (pro rata for 22.5 hours), Permanent, 25 days holiday plus stats, annual bonus scheme, company sick pay, company bonus, life assurance and private healthcare. We are proud to be working with a local manufacturer in Sheffield employing circa 150 employees, who are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, partnering with managers and driving people initiatives that support business success. Key Responsibilities Support with recruitment across predominantly office based staff. Implement, monitor and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures and employment legislation. Support the events committee with events such as employee engagement days. Produce updated policies as part of a rebranding project. Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations matters. Support managers in managing and improving employee performance. Absence management of short and long-term absence cases. Coach and support managers with interviewing, assessment and selection activities. Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Participate in HR and business improvement projects as required. Support Learning & Development initiatives across the UK business. Help drive digital HR improvements and continuous enhancement of HR processes. Qualifications Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role. Experience supporting managers with employee relations, performance management and absence management. A strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice. Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment (preferred). Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to challenge when necessary. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Confidence working with HR systems and analysing HR data. CIPD Level 5 qualification or currently working towards Level 5 CIPD. Strong HR KPI data analysis skills, ability to produce reports and manipulate data. Benefits Salary up to £37,000 FTE (pro rata will be £22,194.90). Annual bonus scheme. 33 days holiday including bank holidays (pro rata). Part time working 3 days per week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (non negotiable due to job share) Flexible between 8:00am and 5:30pm, with an 8-hour working day including a 30-minute lunch break (e.g. 8:30am – 4:30pm / 8am 4pm, 9am – 5pm) Modern, professional working environment.
