Position Overview The Academic Counselor serves as an essential bridge between students, parents, and the academy. This role is responsible for developing personalized academic plans, monitoring student progress, coordinating instructional resources, and helping ensure the quality and effectiveness of our educational services. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, communicative, and passionate about supporting students’ academic growth. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for students and parents Develop and manage personalized academic plans and class schedules for students Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback, updates, and recommendations to parents Work closely with teachers and the administrative team to support class implementation and coordination Assist with daily academic operations, scheduling, and student activity management Participate in parent consultations, campus events, and student programs Help maintain strong communication among families, teachers, and internal staff Stay informed about trends in educational consulting and continuously improve counseling and communication practices Support the academy in delivering high-quality educational services and a positive student experience Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; background in education, counseling, communication, or a related field preferred Previous experience in education, academic advising, student services, counseling, or administrative coordination preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism Passion for education and student development Ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and team members Language Requirement Chinese (Required) English proficiency preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an educational institution, tutoring center, or student support role Familiarity with academic planning, parent communication, and student progress tracking Ability to handle scheduling, coordination, and follow-up efficiently A warm, patient, and service-oriented attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr A PLUS 1 ACADEMY CORPORATION
