Reports To: Senior Director, Student Success Location: WGAESF Headquarters – Glenview, IL Salary Range: $55,000 to $65,000 Evans Scholars Foundation Overview Established by famed amateur golfer Charles “Chick” Evans Jr., the program provides full housing and tuition scholarships to deserving caddies across the country. Currently, 1,260 caddies are attending college on scholarship; there are more than 12,000 Evans Alumni. More information is available at wgaesf.org. Program Description The Coordinator, Education plays a key role in supporting current Evans Scholars enrolled at 28 partner universities nationwide and serves as an integral member of the WGA/ESF Education Team. This position requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization to support student success initiatives and educational programming. Job Responsibilities Dedicate approximately 50% of time to education-related administrative support, including student record updates, communications with university financial aid offices, grade tracking, and preparation of annual reports. Provide administrative and programmatic support to the Senior Vice President, Education and Senior Director, Student Success, including coordination of student programming, chapter-based initiatives, and the Summer Leadership Summit. Manage communications through the general Evans Scholar email inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional, and service-oriented manner. Support special Evans Scholars Foundation initiatives, including Career Services, Opportunity and Outreach programs, through event coordination, committee support, data management, and stakeholder communication. Assist with cross-functional projects and collaborate with internal departments to support organizational goals and student engagement efforts. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university required. One to three years of related professional experience preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered. An Evans Scholar Alum is preferred for this position. Skills & Attributes Successful candidates will demonstrate: Strong attention to detail Financial or Analytical skills A self-motivated, positive, and service-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects independently. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across departments in a team-oriented environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with public speaking and one-on-one student interaction. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with academic or student data management systems is preferred.
