Key Responsibilities
- Sort packages by ZIP code and designated delivery routes to ensure accurate and efficient parcel processing
- Supervise temporary workers during daily sorting operations and provide training on sorting procedures and best practices
- Coordinate truck dispatch and support smooth inbound and outbound delivery operations
- Design and optimize delivery routes for drivers to improve delivery efficiency and reduce transportation costs
- Track and manage exception cases, including damaged, lost, delayed, or incorrectly routed parcels, and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine stock checks
- Perform basic equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs as needed
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with company safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and support overall service quality
- Complete other operational tasks and assignments as directed by supervisors
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, or a related field preferred
- Experience with package sorting, order fulfillment, inventory management, or other warehouse operations
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a strong plus
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong adaptability and willingness to support different operational needs as required
