Role summary: The complete vehicle analysis graduate analyst will participate in a structured rotational program across the three core pillars of quality analysis — material analysis, functional testing, and dimensional evaluation. This role is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of vehicle quality and problem-solving methodologies through hands-on testing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The analyst will work alongside engineers and quality experts to identify root causes of issues, propose countermeasures, and drive long-term improvements that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Possible tasks within this role rotation:

• Rotation 1: Material Analysis: This rotation focuses on understanding how materials and components influence vehicle performance and long-term quality. The analyst will gain practical experience in laboratory testing and root cause analysis to ensure materials meet Volkswagen's standards for durability and safety.
• Rotation 2: Functional Testing: This rotation provides exposure to the functional aspects of vehicle analysis, including system performance, drivability, and customer-perceived quality. The analyst will assist in developing testing protocols and analyzing vehicle behavior under real-world conditions.
• Rotation 3: Dimensional Evaluation: This rotation emphasizes the dimensional accuracy of vehicle and component assembly. The analyst will learn how measurement data impacts product quality, fit-and-finish, and overall manufacturing precision.

Qualification requirements:

• Education: Mechanical engineering, materials science, industrial engineering, quality engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Specialized skills: Knowledge of material properties, component performance, and dimensional measurement techniques.
• Technical writing and presentation skills for documenting findings and communicating results.
• Ability to conduct physical testing on complete vehicles and individual components.
• General skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and data visualization. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks. Collaborative mindset for working with engineers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
