Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic statuses for patients with critical or life-threatening illness
• Administer prescribed cardiac medications and telemetry-approved drips
• Recognize and respond to patients in shock or experiencing other life-threatening complications
• Assist with emergency and elective cardioversions as well as insertion of temporary pacemakers
• Provide care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations, adapting interactions to individual intellectual and physical needs
• Float to other units as needed based on facility needs; when outside primary skillset, serve in a helping-hands capacity

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in telemetry nursing
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to effectively interact with patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with cardioversion procedures and temporary pacemaker insertion assistance
• Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
