We are hiring a Senior Accountant to own the accounting function and maintain and continuously improve scalable processes as the business grows. Role Summary: The Senior Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, month‑end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll processing, cash tracking, and financial reporting. This role requires strong critical thinking, high ownership, and comfort working across functions and communicating with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail oriented, organized, and able to build structure in a small‑business environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintain general ledger, chart of accounts, and documentation Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations Produce financial statements and management reports Support variance analysis and profitability insights Maintain audit trails and appropriate internal controls Collect required customer financial documentation Review contracts/quotes for billing triggers Coordinate with project managers and warehouse team for fulfillment status Apply cash, manage AR aging, perform collections follow‑up Vendor onboarding and W‑9 collection Process vendor invoices (coding, review, three‑way match when applicable) Manage AP aging, payment runs, ACH/check processing Payroll & People Finance Coordinate payroll tax filings with outsourced provider Reconcile payroll, corporate card, and expense reports Treasury & Cash Management Daily cash tracking and bank balance monitoring Record and reconcile daily cash transactions and payments Operate confidently in QuickBooks Enterprise Identify potential process, data, and reporting improvements, work with owners to implement agreed on improvements Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information Communicate proactively with project managers, field teams, vendors, clients Assist with various ad-hoc projects as required Required Qualifications: 5+ years progressive accounting experience Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Experience owning AP, AR, month end, and payroll processing Strong Excel skills High integrity, confidentiality, and ownership Strong communication skills (written and verbal); comfortable interacting with vendors and clients Preferred Qualifications: Experience improving accounting workflows or systems Experience with job costing or time‑tracking integration to QuickBooks Enterprise Salary range: $85,000 - 105,000 (commensurate with qualifications) #J-18808-Ljbffr Hogden Industries
