Forklift OperatorChallenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on, Inc is looking for a candidate to operate a forklift and respond quickly in a fast paced industrial production environment. This candidate must be able to pull orders, load trucks and stage. We manufacture heavy steel industrial automotive lifts. Must be able to operate in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a safe work environment at all times. Starts out at $20.19/hr and attendance incentive. Hours are 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.ResponsibilitiesLoad trucks and unload trucks.Stage trucks.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner all day, every day in a fast paced industrial production environment.Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment all day, every day.Ability to work with heavy steel industrial equipment.6SOther duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDAbility to pass pre-employment screeningsWarehouse experienceGreat attendance recordMust wear steel toe shoesAbility to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective mannerWillingness to take on responsibilities and challenges and be a self starterAble to work overtime as needed and some SaturdaysMust be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hoursMust be able to work as a team playerMust align with the Snap-on mission statementMust wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable).Must adhere to safety guidelines
