Position: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician

EMR: AllScripts (Sunrise)

Start Date: ASAP (Ongoing Coverage)

Credentialing Timeline: 60 Days

Schedule & Shift Breakdown

Primary Need: 6 8 night shifts per month (6:00 PM 6:00 AM), preferably in consecutive block rotations
Shift Times Across Facility:

Physician Shifts: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM (Nights) 6:00 AM 2:00 PM (Days) 1:00 PM 9:00 PM (Mid-shift)
APC Shifts (Physician-Eligible): 9:00 AM 9:00 PM 11:00 AM 11:00 PM

Coverage Type: Emergency Department Clinical Shifts (No Call)

Facility Overview & Clinical Environment

Annual ED Volume: 20,000 visits per year
Inpatient Support: Dedicated Hospitalist team handles all patient admissions
Responsibilities: Full ED coverage including running code responses

Qualifications & Requirements

Board Status: Board Certified (ABEM) strongly preferred; Board Eligible (BE) accepted
Experience Level: New graduates are welcome to apply
Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required
