This position plays a critical role in fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment through assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaboration with students, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological and academic assessments to evaluate student strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention services to support students’ mental health and well-being. Partner with teachers and administrators to develop strategies addressing academic and behavioral challenges. Deliver consultation and professional development to staff on topics such as trauma-informed practices, behavior management, and inclusive education. Support crisis intervention efforts and provide immediate assistance during critical incidents. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements. Qualifications Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certification (or eligibility to obtain). Experience in a school setting preferred but not required. Knowledge of special education laws, psychological assessments, and evidence-based intervention practices. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
