About the Position

We are looking for a Mold Change Mechanical Technician to play a critical role in the production operation. You will be responsible for changing molds on EPS molding machines and making sure molds and equipment are properly inspected before installation. You will assist with machine setup and production changeovers while working safely and efficiently to minimize downtime. You will also operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move and position molds, with training provided for candidates who need it. This is a hands-on mechanical position where strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, safety, and the ability to work with equipment are essential. The position pays $26-$28 per hour, depending on experience, with some overtime available.

What a Good Candidate Looks Like

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and enjoys working with machinery, tools, and equipment. A military veteran with experience in mechanical maintenance, heavy equipment, vehicle systems, machinery, engineering, logistics, or other hands-on technical roles could be an excellent fit. You should be comfortable following established procedures, working safely around heavy equipment, and taking responsibility for completing the mission correctly. We are willing to train the right person, so you do not need to have experience with every piece of equipment on day one.
