Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide nursing care to medical surgical patients, including those with neurological and post-surgical needs.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Participate in required orientation and maintain compliance with scheduling requirements, including select summer holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg RN experience required.
• Active Wisconsin RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• Comfort working with neurological and surgical patients within a medical surgical unit.
• Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel nursing contract completed preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred.
