Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient

Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Schedule: Shift type: Block scheduling - Weekends: Every other weekend
Assignment Details: Contract Length: 8 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Requirements: License: GA or Compact RN license required - Certifications: BLS and ACLS - Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR experience - EMR: Epic preferred - Unit-specific skills: General OR experience with a broad range of surgical procedures including laparoscopic, orthopedics/spine, general surgery, and other specialty cases
Roles & Responsibilities: Provide nursing care in the operating room setting. Assist in surgical procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate successful outcomes. Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgeries. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Compliance / Notes: Orientation: 24 hours on-site; number of non-billable orientation hours determined by contract length. RTO (requested time off): Max 7 days per contract; all RTO must be finalized at the time of submission. Major holiday coverage: Expected to work a specified number of major holidays based on assignment length.
