This position is ideal for candidates looking to start a career in industrial painting and grow within a manufacturing and production environment.As a Painter Helper, you will support wet paint and powder coat operations by assisting with material preparation, masking, part handling, cleaning, and general production support. This role offers hands-on experience and opportunities for long-term growth within the paint department.We are looking for team members with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced production environment.Position SummaryThe Painter Helper is responsible for supporting industrial painting operations by preparing parts, maintaining clean work areas, and assisting painters throughout the production process. This position plays an important role in maintaining workflow efficiency, paint quality, and production readiness.The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn industrial wet paint and powder coating processes.ResponsibilitiesPrepare metal parts and components for paintingPerform masking and tape application as requiredClean and prep surfaces before paint applicationHang, move, and organize parts for productionClean paint guns and painting equipmentAssist painters during wet paint and powder coat operationsMaintain clean and organized work areasSupport production schedules and workflow needsFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsAssist with material handling and shop support tasks as neededPainting & Production SkillsBasic understanding of industrial painting environments preferredAbility to learn wet paint and powder coating processesStrong attention to detail and surface preparationAbility to follow instructions and work within a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing settingGood organizational and housekeeping skillsTools & Equipment UsedPaint preparation toolsMasking materials and tapePaint guns and spray equipmentCleaning supplies and solventsMaterial handling carts and racksHand and power toolsPPE and safety equipmentQualificationsPositive attitude and willingness to learnGood attendance and reliabilityAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move materials throughout the shiftAbility to work safely in a manufacturing environmentStrong attention to detail and work ethicPrevious manufacturing experience is a plus, but not requiredBilingual in English and Spanish preferredCompensationStarting pay: $18/hourFull-time position40 hours guaranteed per weekStable work scheduleOpportunity for growth within the paint departmentHands-on training providedPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move materials regularlyAbility to bend, kneel, push, pull, and work in a physically demanding environmentAbility to work safely around paint equipment and machineryWork EnvironmentThis position works inside a manufacturing and industrial paint facility.
