Maintenance ManagerERCO Worldwide has operated for over 100 years, focused largely on the production and supply of in-organic products along with technology for the production of chlorine dioxide. Today, ERCO's major business areas include sodium chlorate, chlor-alkali products, sodium chlorite, and chlorine dioxide technology. The ERCO business serves a number of key customer segments including pulp and paper, food, energy, agriculture, water treatment, airport de-icing, fertilizers and specialty chemicals.ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Valdosta team! Looking for a hardworking, safety-minded, Maintenance Manager. Reporting to a Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager sets the direction and oversees all activities related to plant maintenance (from strategy development through to implementation, execution and evaluation) while driving alignment with the corporate strategic direction and established systems and directives. Delivering on a broad range of responsibilities, the Maintenance Manager must balance an ability to draw on well-established general management capabilities with a willingness to get directly involved in the operations (applying specialty/technical skills) as required. They will also support the Plant Manager in communications with regulatory bodies, suppliers and contractors.The Role:Identify and report efficiency opportunities (i.e., losses, reliability, cost and spare parts inventory) and implement appropriate solutions to optimize equipment and maintenance costs while minimizing downtime.Make (or actively support) critical decisions that impact the local site (i.e. team performance, maintenance and capital planning, production outage planning, costing/budgeting etc.Monitor relevant regulations to ensure compliance in areas such as ethical practices, employee and process safety, contractor safety, environment etc.Development and implementation of key people initiatives (i.e., training, talent development, skills planning, organization design, hiring/on-boarding, succession management etc.Review key measures on a regular basis in order ensure production and quality expectations are being met.The Person:College Degree is preferred but not required.6-10 years of experience in Plant Operations and Maintenance Management, Budgeting/Cost Management, and Safety and Environmental LeadershipStrong analytical skills (i.e., process, equipment and technical data, incident/process investigation)Related experience in vendor/contractor negotiations is an assetOccasional travel as the role requires.Someone who is safety-orientedAbility to work outdoors, stand for shift, lift & climb stairsMust pass pre-hire physical & drug screenThe Value You Bring:Strong health and safety mindsetStrong relationship builder – collaborative, team-builderFocused and results driven, transparent, and articulateDrives continuous improvementResilient – can adapt to changing environments/technologyProactive – takes initiative, creative, stays ahead of the curve, enthusiastic, inspirationalCompetitive Benefits:Health and Dental Benefits on Day 1Health Care/Wellness Spending AccountAnnual Short Term Incentive BonusStaff Recognition AwardsTuition ReimbursementEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramPaid time off401k matchDisability InsuranceDevelopmental Opportunity:At ERCO we believe in continuous improvement, not just with our processes, but with our employees too!
