Clinical Outcomes Associate

Summary The Clinical Outcomes Associate (COA) role involves conducting telephonic outreach to Cook Children’s Health Plan members for needs assessment, appointment scheduling, and care gap closure. You will act as a trusted advisor and educator, guiding members to a better healthcare experience and serving as the initial point of contact between CCHP and new members. Location Calmont Operations Building Department Clinical Support & Prevention Shift First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours 40 Education and Experience High school diploma. Minimum one year of healthcare customer service experience, preferably in Managed Care. Conversion from temporary employment with Cook Children’s Health Care System may substitute for experience. Excellent phone communication skills. Customer service and professionalism are key. Ability to manage multiple computer applications and multitask efficiently. Strong work ethic, punctuality, accountability, and commitment to follow‑ups. Adaptability to changing healthcare environment and collaboration with healthcare team. Computer and data entry experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office). Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills. Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) required; expert proficiency in conversational, reading, writing, and translation of medical terms. Must pass a Spanish test prior to hire. Certification/Licensure Not applicable.
