Senior Human Resources Generalist

Job Description Workday and HR Operations Serve as a key HR resource for Workday processes, reporting, and employee data. Independently process employee job changes in Workday, including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, manager changes, and other employment changes. Process employee terminations in Workday and ensure applicable HR steps are completed accurately and timely. Review promotion letters, job change letters, separation documentation, and other employee correspondence. Generate Workday reports for HR, managers, and other business needs. Review Workday transactions and employee data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Assist managers with Workday-related questions and reporting needs. Monitor HR transactions through completion and follow up on outstanding approvals or required actions. Maintain accurate employee records and supporting documentation. Identify opportunities to improve Workday processes, reporting, data integrity, and HR workflows. Serve as a backup to the HR Manager for designated Workday processes and HR operational responsibilities undefined. Employee Relations Support Provide substantial support to the HR Manager with employee relations matters. Assist with gathering information, reviewing documentation, and maintaining case records. Support workplace investigations as directed by the HR Manager. Assist with the preparation of corrective action documentation, performance improvement plans, and other employee relations materials. Review relevant company policies and documentation to support employee relations matters. Assist managers with routine HR policy and process questions, escalating more complex matters to the HR Manager. Track employee relations documentation and follow-up items as needed. Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters. Compliance Support Provide ongoing support to the HR Manager with internal and external HR compliance requirements. Gather employee data and documentation needed for compliance reporting, audits, filings, and other requirements. Assist with recurring compliance reporting and recordkeeping activities. Track assigned compliance deadlines and follow up on outstanding information. Review HR records and employee data for accuracy and completeness. Assist with compliance-related research and preparation of supporting documentation. Maintain organized records related to compliance activities and reporting. Support the HR Manager with audits and other compliance-related projects as needed. Training and Manager Support Assist with the development of HR related training materials and resources. Support or facilitate employee and manager training as needed. Develop resources related to Workday processes, HR policies, performance management, and other HR topics. Identify recurring HR questions or process challenges that may benefit from additional training or manager resources. Assist with HR communications related to new or updated processes. General HR Support Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding HR policies, processes, and systems. Provide backup support to the HR Manager and other members of the HR team as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Handle sensitive employee and company information with appropriate discretion. Develop an understanding of HR processes outside of primary areas of responsibility to provide appropriate backup coverage when needed.
