Food Service Coordinator

Food Rescue Coordinator – Overview Feeding Champlain Valley has an immediate opening for a Food Rescue Coordinator. In this role you will drive vehicles, coordinate food rescue, solicit food donations, and pick up food from supermarkets and food providers on a regular basis. You will work closely with a team to ensure the site remains clean, organized, and that food is handled safely using forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as required. Responsibilities Drive vehicles to coordinate food rescue Solicit food donations and pick up food from supermarkets and food providers regularly Work closely with a team to keep the site clean, organized, and safe, moving food with forklift and pallet jack as required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a warehouse environment or food systems work Fork truck certification preferred Effective verbal and written communication skills (bilingual abilities are a plus) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation Ability to uphold established health and safety procedures Compensation & Benefits Starting pay is $23.65 per hour, ranging from $23.65 to $24.67.
