Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Brockton, MA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. You will participate on the Code Blue team, make ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results, and provide care in critical care settings including MICU and SICU.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current Massachusetts Respiratory Care license in good standing.
• RRT certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 4 years recent experience in a Level 2 or Level 3 trauma facility with recent critical care experience in MICU and SICU.
• Experience participating on a Code Blue team and making ventilator decisions based on assessment and labs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lung protective ventilation strategies.
• Experience with Drager XL and V500 ventilators preferred.
• Experience in a Level III NICU preferred.
• NPS and/or ACCS preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 3x12-hour nights.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required.
• Must be able to float to other facilities as needed.
